Oh yeah. That reminds me of the shelves during COVID because of Trump's mismanagement! Of course you resort to "communism" as a threat and epithet. It's interesting how any kind of regulation is met with "radical leftism" or "socialism/communism" rather than capitalism with guardrails. You know, things like child labor laws, the 40 hour work week, OSHA, minimum wage laws, corporate taxes. While price gouging can be a rational economic response to supply constraints, it can also be corporate greed due to monopolistic tendencies can be addressed in other ways (e.g., taxing excess profits, unfair trade practices, antitrust enforcement).
