She dropped the nap when she was 3.5, which was its own set of problems at school. I think it's more that the learning in 1st is a bit more on the nose than in kindergarten. In K, they really go out of their way to frontload the spoonful of sugar with the medicine. In 1st, they are more direct that this is learning time, not play time. [/quote]
