Everything was a lie because the Maine cabin doesn't exist. He hasn't talked to that Uncle (with the non existent cabin) in 2 years. The only thing that we 100 percent know to be  true are his name and his horrible beard. Oh, and the coonhounds. Cause you couldn't make that up![/quote]
I was never convinced that Uncle J was actually the uncle he claimed to be going up there with. I think in his alibi, he said that he called off the Maine trip because of the coon dog competition in PA. I just wanted to clarify that this would only make sense if op's last contact with him had been the night before he started driving to Maine and then he had a change of plans in the morning. That's not how it happened. [/quote]
