Which club treats the lower club teams the same as their top team? Please let us know so we can join. Seems like all local clubs treat their top team better than lower teams. They get away with it because there are more players trying out than spots available.
Dude, you really need to chill out. This is not the Hunger Games — it is a youth soccer association. I honestly hope you are not a coach or administrator with Arlington Soccer Association, because if that is the mindset and tone toward families, it would explain a lot.
Just a parent with one kid on the top team and another on a lower team. Top team have more experienced coaches and more training compared to lower team. We came from another club who did the same. More resources go to the top team. At least Arlington charges more for the additional resources to the players on the top team and we pay less for our child on the lower team.
+1. Have kids at a few different clubs and the top teams get more resources and focus. There are additional practice opportunities, scrimmages against other clubs to stay sharp, summer training and player involvement. It’s not like being a pro but different enough that you quickly notice it.
