They've pushed gerrymandering about as far as they can without risk. Early on (can't remember which districts), Texas took 2 solid red seats and turned them into 5 moderate leaning seats (max +5). It would only take a gentle blue wave to flip all 5 seats.

Blue states are just getting their redistricting toes wet. Red states are maxed out. The untapped potential of a blue tsunami is within reach. Hope DeSantis held on to those white rain boots! [/quote]

You do know that Republicans could end gerrymandering now, right? You have the presidency, the Senate, the House, the courts, and most State Houses. Plus, pretty much every Democrat would be very happy to join you with some anti-gerrymandering legislation. You could get it done by noon tomorrow.
