As someone with no affiliation to either team, here’s what I observed during the game: In the first half, Robo struggled significantly on the draw, with Westfield winning the majority of possessions. Westfield capitalized on those opportunities, scoring many of their goals off cuts and penalty shots as Robo’s defense broke down at times. Westfield’s offense appeared to run primarily through #1 and #9. In the third quarter, the Rams made a noticeable adjustment. They began winning more draws and were able to take control of possession, which helped them build momentum and earn the lead. Key contributors for Robo seemed to be #16 and #21. I’ll also add that, from my perspective, some of the officiating appeared to lean in Westfield’s favor, which may have played a role in their late comeback.
