lol only as long as we have the enough missiles and interceptors. Those things cost a lot of money and China controls the industrial magnets and rare earths needed to make them. China is not shipping anything that can be used or repurposed for military use. This has really hurt the US military supply system.

The 12 day “war” in 13 – 24 June 2025 with Iran we burned through 1/3 of our total stock of high altitude interceptors in the first 3 days and that has not been restocked. Iran has a lot of cheap cruise and ballistic missiles. We will have to shoot $50,000 -$250,000 “missiles” down with $10 million dollars missiles. Let’s hope Iran does not recover our missiles and give them to the Chinese. That will make the US fleet a lot less safe.

The Straits of Hormuz could be shut down because we are also protecting Israel, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the US fleet, US airbases, shipping lanes, etc, etc. It’s a huge f’ing area.

Ukraine with no navy took out 25-50% of the Russian Black Sea fleet with basically $15,000 remote controlled jet skis with a bomb attached. Release a few hundred of those with a coordinated missile attack and you can hit an oil tankers in the Straights of Hormuz. The US military is not prepared for a drone war. Iran has been building drones for the Russians.

Remember all it takes is for the insurance companies to not insure oil tankers passing through the Straight of Hormuz and the straight will be closed. Iran is not going anywhere and the US fleet can not maintain combat operations indefinitely. [/quote]
