So slice and freeze what you don’t use of the fruit and repurpose for something else. Or cook/bake something using the fruit. Homemade applesauce is pretty easy for example. [/quote]

You are arguing that people who live below the poverty line should be making applesauce instead of buying chips. Presumably this is the MAGA policy position. So how is the Republican Party advancing this desired goal? [/quote]

Two different posters. I’m the one who suggested making applesauce. Pretty much every has an internet enabled phone now to be at recipe ideas. I am not a republican. I did used to be poor and I somehow managed to feed myself without eating a bunch of processed crap. I didn’t have kids yet but I did know some families during that time and I saw a lot of stews over rice, buying cheap cuts of meat on sale and freezing them, frozen veggies etc.

Also someone above is talking about a baked potato as a sad meal and I have to say, I make good money now and I love a good baked potato. I have one for lunch not infrequently. You can get a 10 pound bag of russet potatoes from Aldi for 5 [/quote]
