And that is Israel's everlasting vulnerability.  They can take Palestinian land and Palestinian bodies. But as long as they live on the land, they will know no peace. The problem is Israeli right wingers are ideologues. Left wingers are pragmatists.
It's the same with Palestinian politics as well.

Netanyahu ignores the West Bank Palestinian Authority government in favor of Hamas  despite Ehud Barak's warnings  because he doesnt care if 10/7's happen and Israelis die, so long as no two state solution ever happens. He's willing to die on that hill of no two state solution and so is Hamas. [/quote]
