totally..uncalled for. The OP just shared the opinion. With no substance you chose to attack the language!
BTW -- the school quota is absolutely A THING. If you attend the AOL sessions they tell you that in there as well. Even in a public, tax funded school system there are some schools who do better than others - a lot of factors make this happen - demographics, teachers, students etc etc. and that changes over time as well.  If this was truly based on JUST scores then those 'top schools in any given year' will take most of the spots, further perpetuating the cycle of them being on top! So the school quota helps level it out to an extend and so it should along with a lot of other factors that are not all revealed to us! This is a stressful process and getting accepted OR waitlisted OR rejected is just a reflection on how any kid did on that particular test/criteria combined with how everyone else did on the same test/criteria. No need to take that as a reflection on their lives and experiences! We all live in the LCPS system - which means no student is going to a badly run or underfunded High school no matter where they are in the county. If the kid wanted to get into AOL and didnt get in - there is no reason to blame anything or any process. Just means you have to take a different path to maximize your potential and opportunity.
