LOL how in the world do you know if people you are hiring went to college in person?  (not talking about purely online colleges).  I am currently getting masters from Georgia Tech, fully online.  It actually beats going in person because I have fewer distractions and more time to learn.[/quote]

Online learning at the college level is VERY different than elementary school.  At the very least the elementary and middle school MVA should be eliminated.[/quote]

Well for one thing the data shows that at the elementary level, math and reading progression was much slower than at the in person level.  It is documented in the latest report.  We don't know anything about this past year because they won't publish it, probably because there was little to no improvement.[/quote]

This is a nice thread on the issues with MVA.  Report has some good data on absenteeism and lack of progress in math and reading.
