Too late as in they reach a certain age when most of the good men are snatched up and they’re no longer in their prime dating years for finding a first time husband to settle down and have kids with.

“These days”…. it was steadily becoming worse in the 90’s and 2000’s but I would say a big acceleration was when Tinder/OLD became mainstream, so 2010 to 2015 as the swipe apps matured. Combing the OLD apps with the rise of IG and other socials it all of a sudden gave women a huge new avenue for having one night stands with men several leagues above them in looks. When you’re a 5 and can land an 8+/10 for a hookup and it’s as easy as ordering a pizza you start to have delusions about your own level of attractiveness. A few nights of banging 7’s 8’s and 9’s, and now the prospect of forming a relationship with a 5 or 6 seems uninspiring. The problem is those few attractive men who are drowning in matches are happy to sleep with you, but nothing more.[/quote]
