That much I know. [/quote] It won’t apply to IB because of the standards required there. APS pretty much setting up, or some might say reinforcing, a two tier system. Some kids, mostly white and UMC, will get rigorous classes that prepare them for college. Everyone else will get even more watered down classes with even lower expectations. All in the name of equity. Who wins? Probably not teachers, definitely not students. Duran and syphax probably as they can say they “fixed” the achievement gap. [/quote]
