I certainly hope the prosecution is building a strong case with a long track record of his behavior fully documented. Not sure what would be best for this kid but certainly no 6 year old anywhere has the understanding of an adult.  They just don't.  Yes, they know rules and right-and-wrong and that they shouldn't hit, kick, bite, or shoot people.  But kids do all sorts of things they aren't supposed to, and they don't exactly know the severity of the difference.  [/quote]
