Also, I don’t think she actually HAD friend zoned him before the party. I don’t think he was at all clear that he was in the friend zone. I sense that she somehow felt rejected by him (maybe because he wasn’t assertive enough in pursuing her?) but that he wasn’t intending to reject her at all. So she decided to reject HIM in a painful way to show him that she doesn’t need him.[/quote]

PP here. Yes! I was confused when she kissed the young guy because I thought she and Shekar were still on. I assumed I had just missed a scene or something, but I guess not.

Even if she had clearly told him their relationship was over, it still would have been so rude to openly flirt/kiss the young guy in front of Shekar. That is pretty mean. [/quote]
