Morgantown has changed drastically in the past 20 years, much like any other up and coming mid-sized city in the U.S. It pales in comparison to the poverty stricken areas (OP is a whiner). I recently purchased a place in the eastern panhandle...tons of people coming out this way from D.C. Yes, there are a lot of shacks and run down places but I have been amazed at the friendliness of the locals and the beauty of the landscape, not to mention plenty of outdoor activities. I foresee this area changing a lot in the future as more people move in.[/quote]
