Currently, max would be around 0-1 APs freshman year, 1-2 sophomore year, 4-7 junior year, 5-7 senior year. In theory, you could do around 17 APs total (probably a few can do more) but you don't need to do near that for top 10%. Most will do around 10-14 APs, with some outliers on the high end.
