I don't know the heart and soul of mask wearers but those who simply can't be bothered speak loud and clear.
+1 million Youngkin. Nutter on this thread. It's loud and clear.
It’s also loud and clear to me that you guys are heavily invested in believing this absurdity, no matter how patently false the assumption is across the many types of people who reject your evangelically moralistic view. It’s fundamental to your own feelings of needing to be seen as superior to others. Lots of weird psychology on display here. And I guarantee it’s not just limited to the way you view Covid.
Preach. The holier-than-thou sanctimony is really quite something. I guess I should be shocked, but these are the usual DCUM mean-girl cabal, so I'm not all that surprised. It's clear they have trouble playing well with others.
Yes, meanwhile anti-mask crybabies have been crying for the past two years about “fresh air” and permanently damaged children who will not develop properly because they are wearing a mask at school. Parents screaming at school boards at teachers and even mask wearing kids. Right, you’ve all been so sane through this. Will the children ever recover from this oppression? Masks as a form of social control were all pretty rational fears. And let’s not forget the geo tracking microchips in the vax. Yup, a lot of sanity on the anti mask side. All I’ve said is that I think you’re selfish jerks. I’m not overly dramatic, just straight forward and honest. That is what I and others think of you when we see you. Soon, numbers will allow us all to take off our masks but until then when I see you I know exactly who and what you are.
Right back at you, psycho drama llama. YOU are the selfish jerk. DP
Nah, I wear a mask when inside a public space and when I’m at a gas station I fill the car up then I move the car to a parking spot before going inside so that the gas pump is available for other people. I try and be courteous to others.
No one cares. No one.
I care. There are people who cannot be vaxed or who have underlying conditions. And others who randomly get tough cases of it. I have a relative who died from Covid recently. And another acquaintance -young and healthy- was in the hospital for days. So, you see, I care about those people. And there are many like me (we are just not vocal about it, though we do judge you selfish, entitled types who blather on about their rights, at the expense of others' health). It's you that does not. That is the definition of selfish.
Extra points for using the word “selfish” again!! Good job! The PP made an assumption that if someone NO LONGER supports indoor mask wearing (like many Democrat controlled states, by the way!), they must also not return shopping carts, etc. I have worn a mask for two solid years indoors and now that the mandates are lifting and the numbers are going down significantly, I’m no longer going to do so. It is a stupid assumption that I don’t plan to return my shopping carts simply because I no longer plan to wear a mask as long as the mandate is lifted. I return carts, pick up items that have fallen, clothing that falls off hangars in stores, etc, because that’s who I am, but I don’t need to make false assumptions about others because I lack any real data to back up my anxiety and personal needs to continue wearing masks, simply because it still gives me all the feels. So spare us all your virtue signaling. It’s beyond pathetic, and no one cares about PP’s or your needs to keep telling everyone how very virtuous you are. Not sure how much more clear I need to be, unless you feel the need to tell how you sometimes pick up your neighbor’s mail or bake cookies for your PTA?!
You absolutely do not owe this person any type of response to his list of “charges”. Normal and well-adjusted people understand that people are complex and have reasons for the choices they make. If he wants to believe these things, he is free to, but it says much more about his mental state than it does about any of us.
I dunno, I've just said the same things, it would seem to me that if it didn't trigger any of you at some level you would simply move on. I get it, nobody likes to be called selfish and compared to people who do the listed things but that is what I believe the type of person you are and have been throughout this pandemic. Soon the masks will come off but it is pretty depressing learning how selfish people in our community have been through all of this. And this is what many people who willingly and without complaint did over the past two years. Nobody enjoyed it but seeing just how self centered and petty people were is pretty sad. You were not right, you didn't own the libs you were just petty and selfish.
Right but many don’t think it’s selfish, so there’s that. We all value different things, as you obviously do regarding masks all the time. But you are not the great decider of who is or isn’t selfish, moral, or pure. It’s your very dearly held opinion, and that’s it. I think most people just tend to naturally bristle at people with your disposition. Just as you feel you’ve learned how “selfish” everybody is, we’ve also learned quite a great deal from your sort. Don’t worry, I’m sure another news story or topic will come up after Covid and you can get right back up in the saddle of your high horse!
And many do believe you are selfish and I am one of them. Why do you keep replying as if you have some form of fact to disprove me? I view your actions as selfish, that is the type of person I believe you are. You or others like you who refused to wear masks have been selfish. You are no better than the person who leaves a dirty diaper in the parking lot in my eyes. That is what I think and what I believe. I'm not afraid of the diaper, i just think the person who does that is disgusting. There, you're disgusting to me.
And you are free to believe that! I just see you as irrational, so whatevs.
