This is such a cock up. Absentee voting was always intended for when you are not able to vote in person. We have nearly two months to get this done. Every jurisdiction should have polls open now and everybody should just go and vote in person with an ACTUAL ID to you know IDENTIFY WHO YOU ARE. Nobody is going to get the Rona from voting. It doesn't work that way. The fact that some of the polling locations are overrun today, TWO MONTHS out, is not something to get outraged about. But, people will rage away, since that is easier. And, when this is all over, and the Orange Man wins anyways, I am sure we will have at least a dozen Supreme Court cases relating to an unending effort to continue counting found ballots. That is how this is all going to shake out. What a joke.
Many jurisdictions do not have early voting. Many jurisdictions have been suppressed to have one polling place with three machines for 10 or 20 thousand people. Maybe YOU have early voting. Maybe YOU don't have to wait in lines, but that is not reality for many Americans.
