This is a weak statement.

The rioting and looting were a result of the reaction to this awful death.  
They are hurting innocent business owners, destroying property, and causing the taxpayers of the city undue costs.

The police station and police cars that were damaged and destroyed?  They'll be repaired and replaced - at the taxpayers expense.

Rioting and looting is just stupid and short sighted.  Many were simply taking advantage of a bad situation.  The people there who were protesting  should speak out against these criminals.  [/quote]
