that is the advantage for FCV over the WS.  FCV can build their 06s and 05s in adavnace and good players want to go play there when younger to get in.  of course the training and development is a separate question between the two that can be debated elsewhere. But FCV will probably have better results early on, at least they have so far.  The WS says they need a better feeder system in that interview[/quote]

Is that really the case? I believe I understand the FCV ECNL 04 moved over into the DA, but an anyone confirm that girls who were ECNL in 2016-2017 were 100% the same 20 over the last 2 years prior?

And for the 05s.. have they been 100% roster static? no incoming or loses over u11-u13 transition? Can anyone provide feedback that FCV girls dominated the 05 ID sessions?

I would think that the DA designation might change the consideration/desire of someone to play for FCV vs FCV in CCL, NPL, etc. Plus you've got the new coaching director who could potentially change the direction of club and want a different development over what they are currently doing, which could require a different set of players..

The 04's moving from ECNL to DA had some roster changes. A handful of Loudoun girls, a couple of moves up from NPL, and a few girls left behind. Probably 2/3rds the same.  The FCV 05's are a good group, I would expect them to largely carry over into DA next year... they are advertised as pre-DA this year. There will be some dilution I expect, but I have not been at the 05 ID sessions to tell you how many girls from other clubs were there.[/quote]
