I went to the Burger King on Shady Grove Rd and they have tablets for ordering (ie: automation).  It’s not just factories that are automating jobs away.  When Amazon sells an Android tablet for 50 bucks, humans making $1/hr are more expensive.  Add in 100% deductions and expect every place to have this.[/quote]
You have to order from a kiosk at the McDonalds near Dulles Mall, too.

And this isn't surprising. When a person's job requires such minimal skill that a 6th grader could do it (press your selections on a screen and swipe your card for payment) companies will just have their own customers do it. [/quote]

Automation and AI will replace many jobs over the next 30 years. Including in the legal and medical professions. [/quote]
