Great example of a post disconnected from reality, probably influenced by other similar posts.  I can only speak for one of the local teams, and "entitled, unrealistic and overbearing" is so far from being true it is laughable.  [/quote]

Agree. More nonsense above. Doesn't resemble our team at all. Parents and kids get along.

As for "unrealistic", I have never heard a single comment from a parent on our team with an expectation of playing at a top 10 program. Not even for making Capital. Not one, in 4 years.  A few have talked about their DD's hope to "play in college"--which is entirely realistic--but that's about it.

For those of us who just got off a 4 tournament, multi-camp/clinic June schedule, in an extended heat wave, "entitled" doesn't hit the mark either.  This is hard work, and even more so for the players.

And agree that Capital's policies and approach prevent the nonsense that apparently people are seeing at other clubs.
