Survive her wounds but also not be able to move around the house, or grab her phone, or anything. At the very least she’d have tried to leave the house and left a trail in the hall. I dont think the theory that he stabbed her before Joe got there is realistic [/quote]

There HAS to be some explanation for how JR is in the room with a naked CB and CB isn't calling police or hiding/screaming.   JR (not being an actual attacker) would run out if he thought CB didn't want to see him.  One possibility is that she was already mortally wounded when JR and BB came into the room together.  Just one possibility.  There is no risk of JR calling police if BB (posing as CB) is telling him to wait in the foyer "until my husband comes home" and they are supposed to come into the room together.  We don't know what JR was being told by BB or JM when they were posing as CB.

The theory of the case has to explain how CB was in the bedroom naked when JR was also there.  One explanation is that she wasn't conscious when JR was there.  Another explanation is that CB was alive and expecting BB -- but instead of BB coming into the bedroom alone, BB arrived with JR, and then BB killed CB in front of JR.  That seems fraught b/c maybe JR would try to stop BB from actually killing CB.  But, if JR thought it was all play-acting, then he might play along until BB pulled out a gun and shot JR too!

Anyone with a theory must explain why CB is naked in the presence of JR, and she wasn't running away or hiding in the bathroom.

I mean I think the obvious solution staring everyone in the face is that she was there naked in the room because she was expecting JR.  Then, when BB came inside, he shot JR, and then started stabbing CB, and that's when AP went to get the second gun to shoot JR instead, because BB was busy stabbing CB by then.  So gross to speculate about this, I don't feel good about myself doing it. I feel so sorry for their daughter. [/quote]

She could have been in pjs when all arrived, no way to know. Or undressed and expecting BB.
