I believe a ton of folks including myself hate Trump. Completely mortified by him. Angry beyond words. However, his endorsement continues to sway and his candidates win. The Dems are a bunch of idiots. Like morons. Dumb and dumber fools so they can pretty much mess up anything. It's still a few months away and Trump knows full well it doesn't look good for him so I have to believe his people are already planning opportunities to quash what should be a hugggggge blue wave. Not that I think he can truly overcome it but I do think it may not be as huge as we all would like it to be? I'm wary and not holding my breath. I can't imagine anyone who has any brain cells working who isn't aghast at how he's single handle decimated this country on every front but he has supporters for sure. He has SCOTUS and he has a number of very rich people in his corner. It'll be interesting.
Agree. The odd thing I'm holding on to is that Trump has such an ego that he won't mind Republicans losing when he's not on the formal ballot. In his mind, he's carrying the Republican Party. And it's only because of him that Republicans have been able to take the White House, the Senate, the House, the Supreme Court, most state houses, and so on. In Trump's head, Republicans only lose because they're not riding his coattails. And a big loss will be a lesson for Republicans who aren't fully on board the Trump cult. Let them learn the hard way when Trump isn't on the ballot. Trump has given himself and his family immunity from everything. Whether the Senate or House flip is irrelevant to him. He will continue to rule like Jabba the Hutt regardless.
