Tourism contributes billions of dollars to the economy and many cities and towns count on the tax dollars brought in by tourism. How is it "America first" to kill the tourist industry? Tourism is considered an export and contributes to the balance of trade. [/quote]

Lots of small rural towns adjacent to national parks rely overwhelmingly if not exclusively on tourism. And there are a lot of international tourists obsessed with the West. This isn't losing some coins in the couch cushions - this will be a major loss to the economy, especially small businesses.[/quote]
