It was not the decision of the math office. They were just forced to come up with a process for selecting students for the schools without any say in whether it was a good idea for students or teachers. [/quote]

Ever since the idea has been brought up by Reid the math folks have taken deep breaths and sighed a little before discussing it.

There’s a lot of “I know, I know…but it’s not my mandate…”
