-Display patriotic symbols (flags, eagles, etc.) inside and outside their homes, on their cars, on their clothes -Publicly support the military or LEO
Here’s the difference between liberals and all other Americans in two bullet points. Patriotism and support for soldiers and law enforcement isn’t virtue signaling.
It absolutely is. I see it all over my Facebook feed from Maga relatives. I choose to express my support for the military and veterans, including relatives who are veterans, by advocating for increased funding for veterans’ healthcare and contributing financially to groups that support military families. I express my support for my local LEO by thanking them when I see them at public events and supporting measures to increase their pay.
We don’t want your money or thanks. We DO want you to vote against politicians who support policies that keep violent reoffenders on the street.
I'm the PP. Are you an actual LEO? I live in Fairfax Co. and am a lifelong Dem, but did vote against Descano the last time he was up for election. Is that good enough for you?
Absolutely. Progressive prosecutors can wreak more damage than being 800 cops short. They are chaos force multipliers.
PP again. The one area where I really have a problem with LEOs is that they don’t support common sense gun laws. It makes zero sense to me. They chose a job where they can be shot to death any given day because so many people have guns. Why aren’t law-enforcement officers the first in line condemning the easy access to guns in our society? The huge number of guns is a much bigger threat to them than “progressive prosecutors.” The guns are the real “chaos force multiplier.”
Your assertion is simply untrue - police organizations are generally solid supporters of common sense firearms restrictions, in fact. You might be confusing official police policy with the opinions of some 2A extremists in the police forces who are too dumb to grasp that their positions put them at grave risk on the job.
