Many of the first generation Hispanic workers I know, have been sending money to Central America for decades and many return to their countries between December and February where they build houses for their future retirement. Most of them don't want to stay in the US when they get older but go back to their countries where they can do very well with a house and enough money to live in a less expensive country.  It is their kids who will stay in the states and pay into and collect Social Security  I am happy that I am working now with second generation kids who have created companies from their parents' customers or who have gone on to other careers after following the lead of their hard working parents.
