[/quote] My issue is that Romania and the US both acted within their rights to advocate for their athletes. FIG made at least two errors in their scoring. First they didn’t give Jordan credit she deserved, and then they accepted an inquiry outside the window they were allowed. It takes a lot of nerve to punish an athlete for the judges’ mistakes. There are cases to be made for any three of the athletes to receive the bronze, and the appeals will drag on.
