Indy 14 Briar Woods 10 Final
If true than DW is coach of the year. Played the old rope a dope.
Yeah ok! Both statements are far from the truth.
OK genius then you explain how a team gets blown out last regular season game then when it counts they come up with the W in playoffs a few days later? Indy must have been playing backups in the regular season game and holding back which must have put BW off their game. Brilliant coaching move. BW was playing checkers Indy was playing chess. DW got checkmate.
Well others have spoken for me but if you knew much you would know the regular season win by Briar didn't mean anything except for where the game was played. Briar/Indy were always going to be #2/3 (they both lost to RSH) and the ONLY thing the regular season matchup means was where the game was hosted for the district playoffs. NOW what did the district game mean? NOT much. All of the Potomac teams are in the region playoffs. All last night decides is who is #2 and who is #3 and again who will host the regional game. That is now Indy. Past that- the real game is the 2v3 regional game to decide who plays RHS for the region title, as ONLY the top 2 go to states. That sir is the game to win. That is the only game that counts to give you a shot at a state title. So answer this smart guy if you were saving some super secret game plan to play chess when everyone else is playing checkers, would you use it in an essentially meaningless game to decide where the region game is played? Or, maybe you would be even smarter and use it it the regional game to actually go to states.
