For those of you engaging in whataboutism....... this thread is specifically about the special counsel report on BIDEN'S possession of classified documents. The report was damning. It is clear that Joe does NOT have respect for classified documents as he has claimed numerous times. And, the fact that they are choosing not to charge him because he is of diminished capacity is just insane. Reminds me of Comey and the Hillary Clinton investigation where he said "no reasonable prosecutor would" take the case. It is a breathtaking blatant reminder of the double standards when it comes to prosecuting. Amazing, really. And, remember this...... for those of you saying that you don't care about Joe's memory and his cognitive issues and that he surrounds himself with "capable" people......... there are some things that the president is responsible for that cannot be simply passed of to a cabinet member or staffer. He holds the nuclear codes. He is expected to sit across the table from other world leaders - both allies and adversaries. It is actually frightening to think about these things.
Damning is the guy who has 91 counts pending against him along with losing his business for fraud after already having lost elections, a university a foundation, an airline and two wives. This report says there were irregularities but nothing prosecutable. End of story.
Well now those counts are actually a plus because apparently prosecutors believe Trump is mentally capable of standing trial. Can’t say the same for Biden. He is too diminished to stand trial based on Hurs interviews with him and based on listening to his the transcripts of Biden revealing classified documents to and being interviewed by his ghost writer 7 years ago!! Biden was so bad even back then!!! If you really believed it was all just a “stutter” as people said in 2020, I have some land in the Everglades to sell you.
You understand that Hur is a right wing appointed political hack, right?
He didn’t conduct the interview in 2017. He didn’t tell Biden what to say. Biden is the problem, not Hur. And frankly, spare me the histrionics about Hur. Jack Smith is a strident lefty and on a crusade to bring down Trump. Why is that ok and yet having Hur investigate Biden so outrageous. At least Hur made the proper call to NOT prosecute. Smith, like his buddy Comey before him, is a self-promoter who wants to be part of the story and make a name for himself. Comey went after Martha Stewart and put her in jail for doing something people do all the time and just pay a fine. But no, he had to put Martha in jail. That is how Smith is. Smith went after thr former governor of Virginia entirely to make a name and the conviction was ultimate tossed because it was so ridiculous. He is 100% motivated by politics and self aggrandizement. Puh-lease stop pretending Hur did anything wrong. He did the country and frankly the Democratic Party a favor by stating what we all know. Biden is not fit for reelection and the DNC needs to fix this asap.
If you want to play history, let's talk about sweeping iran-contra under the rug; let's talk about Starr starting with Whitewater and ending up with Lewinski; let's talk about sweeping Iraq invasion under the rug and WMD lies that induced a trillion dollar war, let's talk about rogue special pprsecutors dogging dem politicians and ignoring GOP crimes for decades. But sure, Trump is totally innocent and never did anything shady or illegal in his life. Spare me.
Despite what I think of your post...... We are talking about PRESENT day issues now. Stop living in the past. We are looking at two different special counsels who have lifted the veil on the different standards of justice we are currently seeing. One is charged for the SAME CRIME that the other committed. But, he gets a pass. This is not justice.
