It is who wins off the lacrosse field that matters. This year it will be GZ 2024 WCAC champs.
Better get you a BIG box of tissues now. GZ needs to worry about beating PVI and GC first. Big brother on military road gonna sweep WCAC in 2024. Would say looking forward to the championship matchup but GZ might not be there. Nothing new.
Gonzaga is not well coached with the talent they have every year and its players lack discipline. Purple Eagles bring back some good weapons next Spring and SJC lost an All-American FOGO and Goalie. If Gonzaga can't even make it back to the WCAC finals, the current staff needs to be blown up.
The real problem with Gonzaga isn’t Jeff king(head coach). It’s the offensive coordinator, Neil alt. No one talks about this since no one really cares who the offensive coordinator is but Gonzaga’s offense was a joke last year. They had so much talent with the Maryland attack men Colgate attackman and Georgetown middie. Yet the offensive coordinator ran awful sets all year long. If there is one thing Gonzaga needs to do in order to actually utilize their offensive talent, it’s to fire Neil alt. Dudes playbook consists of plays from the 1980’s. He’s just out of touch with how Lacrosse is played now a days.
Gonzaga scored 12 v. Bullis (w) 12 v Landon (w) 11 v Culver (L) 10 v SJC (L) don't count the two post season games after the playoffs. The outlier's were the two PVI games and the D and goalie play was stopping the offense but were intense games with lots of shots on cage. They were still a top 5 offense in the DMV last year.
