I think cigarette smoke is preferable to air freshener.  Air freshener penetrates everything -- hair, clothing, coats, backpacks. It's cheap and nasty. Cigarette smoke is pleasant by comparison.[/quote]

Yes, we upgraded the bath fan several years ago. However, we have a small house. Air freshener is a necessity in the bathroom.

I also enjoy scented candles. DH and I enjoy perfume/cologne.
