I suspect Ivanka keeps Tiffany involved. Ivanka mentioned how she persuaded daddy to give Tiff money and Ivanka had power as the golden child. Tiffany probably used that connection to her advantage. Now she doesn’t need the money but they keep in touch anyway.

Ivanka is the best of them and you judgement of her ( suggesting her protectiveness of Tiffany was self-serving ) reflects badly on perhaps your own true core- Your's - not Ivanka's as it seems that's all your imagination can come up with

Instead, maybe consider that having seen her family wrecked and her sense of security upended by divorce , she likely would feel empathetic to Tiffany watching this little 4 year old girl go through the SAME Trauma she did a few years later
