A child that does not hit the Map score is not allowed to be considered even if he/she hits all other requirements. What will be interesting to see is if some schools go around this guideline while others stick with it. My school has stated that it is strict guidance with no wiggle room. This entire thread is about current 4th graders and the new requirements to continue in compacted math for 5th grade. [/quote] It is related since it's also being discussed here and the county uses the same criteria which schools do have some wiggle room on as the Pp stated.[/quote]
