If the guy is a paranoid schizhophrenic, he isn't like your average criminal at all.  He's crazy.  Crazy people can use a cooling down period.  Definitely.  I have mental illness in my family.  They almost did some horrible things.  They got caught before they did it and yeah, we made them cool down for a bit. [/quote]
