I think you should pay more attention to the anonymous posters.  There's always a very loud, public group of parents expressing a minority viewpoint on these points of things when it comes to "support the teachers" type stuff.  Parents who disagree cannot go public because that risks their kid's reputation at the school.  [/quote]

The predominant viewpoint should be ignored because people who disagree are afraid to express that view, and therefore we should assume that the population that doesn't speak up is in fact in the majority, but for fear of being called out on their opinions.
