We don't live in the past. In the current, no white supremacists are democrats. You can't try to play the same conman game of "both sides".

All trump has done is pass tax cuts for the rich. Everything is going where the progressives are going. Tax cuts are easy to reverse but not Obamacare or fuel standards or gay marriage.

1: Gay marriage is law.
2: Financial regulation are the law. Next step - taxes on the rich is going higher.
3. Obamacare is the law and is very popular. Next stop universal healthcare.
4. Climate change is now being fought by CA,NY and Obama fuel standards stays BECAUSE CA and NY dictates that. No auto company will make one for CA and another for red states.

Do you know the top tax rate in the 60s, when America was economic miracle and unions were strong? 80%. The rich and the companies had it good and the workers had it good too. Then the Reagan revolution dropped taxes and busted unions. That’s when the American decline began. Europe is better at income distribution so income inequality is lot less there. Ours is as bad as Brazil and s Africa.

You are confusing nominal tax rates with effective tax rates. No one was paying 80% effective tax rates in the 60s because there were a million deductions and ways to lower the bill.
