White lives still matter way more than Black lives. You can tell because ICE shot and killed a Black US citizen on New Year’s Eve and this is the first time you’re hearing anything about it.

Quite frankly, it wasn't the fact that he was black that made this case not get attention.

It was that he was firing an assault style rifle in a residential neighborhood. That's a felony.
That's not passive resistance or peaceful protesting. It can actually kill people. His death was therefore less likely to gain much sympathy.

Also - there was no video of his interaction with the ICE agent. That makes the whole thing less shareable, for better or for worse. People share news that is shocking and that has video. [/quote]
