The perpetrators obviously planned their crime well ahead of time and considered every single (even minute) detail.

I think money or burglary were never a motive = I feel someone was angry at this woman (or her family) and did this as an act of pure vengeance.

The house was reported to be in immaculate condition which illustrates to me that due to her mobility issues, Nancy Guthrie was not able to put up much of a physical fight against her kidnappers. :([/quote]
Top notch professional criminals that found a camera and thought, “Hmmm, I think I’ll cover it up with a plant!” I don’t think so. The criminal just got lucky. It’s so sad for her family but they will probably never know what happened. [/quote]
