Does that mean SL will not be "in boundary"? I know kids from Fox Mill who are in my MS with my son and they all plan to go to Skyview. My kid is from Oak Hill/Chantilly pyramid so worst case, he is biking, but I would feel bad if the kids from Fox Mill who are at RCMS didn't get transportation to Skyview after opting in. This whole thing has been like a Knives Out Netfllix series but since we are walking distance I've been a lot more willing to roll the dice. But I do hope our kids friends who opted in get transport for at least the four years they committed to.
Who knows. However, this would explain another reason why Meren did not go to the meeting. I have said from the beginning that Fox Mill would not be in the boundary because of Meren. She may let all of Floris go, however. The logical option was-and still is --the one that sent McNair, Coates, Floris, and Oak Hill. It was the only one that makes sense. RIO screwed that up. It made sense for many reasons--but mostly because it met the requirements for a boundary shift that were stated in the comprehensive boundary study,. Tell me, why would they set those standards for one boundary shift and not another. Distance, overcrowding, etc. Split feeders are still an issue in this area and will continue to be.
