The weapons are not sold. Israel can earmark 25% of their aid appropriation to sudsidize  their own defense industry. They aren’t even mandated to spend their defense money in the US. They can buy weapons from Russia if they choose. Other countries that get US defense and  foreign aid must spend all their aid money on US weapons  and they get their money in quarterly payments. Israel gets it all at the beginning of each fiscal year so they can collect interest on the millions and earn more.

It is a special relationship for sure but regardless of all these fancy weapons and money, it doesn’t seem to have made  a dent on Hamas or it’s tunnels.

Hamas is impenetrable by the Israeli army or the Gazans and it seems that’s by design and serves the purpose of Palestinian national interest and Israeli national interest in different ways.[/quote]
