I get the US supports Israel based on geopolitics/democracy etc. But I will never understand why we as a nation with a debt/GDP ratio of 125% fiscally supports a developed country with a ratio of 60%? Why are the weapons given and not sold, it’s ridiculous.
I do not understand it geopolitically or as a so called “democracy” that does not allow non Jews the same rights. The really question is why the US government is forcing one religion on the Middle East.
Muslims make up 93% of the religion in the Middle East.
Yes but the US is not supporting Muslims only Israel. In fact the US is against all Muslim even in the US because of Israel. Israel wants everything but for free. By free we all know that means the US paying the price and Israel hates us.
There are Muslims in Israel, 18% of the population.
I thought all Arabs and or Muslims wanted to kill Israel and wipe it off the map. 26,000 Jews lived in arab countries in 2009. A couple thousand in Iran and Turkey and Azerbaijan as well. They were mostly old and decided not to make Aliyah to Israel. Bahrains ambassador to the U.S. is a Bahraini Jewish woman . Tunisia has a Jewish representative in government. Many other governments in the Me did as well. Israel is not unique for its 20% Arab population.
