I think reality is finally starting to sink into age guys head. He's starting to realize that playing down isnt a golden ticket to an A team.
There is no age person because people can't pick and choose their kids age categories like ordering a pizza. People aren't giving people advice. They are saying what is happening. Leagues said 8/1 - 7/31 except MLSN1. Clubs said only best play up. College coaches said they don't care about your age group, just be good and have good grades. No advice, just facts.
Heres a fact. If August birthdays choose to play on a grade down club team they will be ignored by college coaches.
“Here’s an opinion” is what I believe you meant to say. If it as strong as a fact as you say it is and I was educated improperly on facts vs opinions, I work for the State of Virginia. We can wager your future pension vs an initial powerball winnings. This should be a no brainer for you Mr. or Ms. Fact. Start a random email address to begin the engagement to set it up. I’m really serious. We can publicize it on the news. The sales proceeds on the commercials during the segment will go to Virginia Youth Soccer. Ready to test your fact?
Bla bla bla. You're just going to find an example where an Aug birthday playing down got a 6k soccer scholorship to a 90k per year private school. Yea you really "won" on that one. Freerides arent going to players playing down.
Goal posting moving again. Before being forced to play up was the only way to play in college and now it is the only way for free rides. Free rides are very rare. So much is merit scholarships, fin aid, and so on. D1 Mens soccer as an "equivalency sports," only has 9.9 scholarships to split on team. Full rides aren't realistic to plan on.
