Perhaps you didn't know that New York added a whole bunch of stuff to the Common Core standards? So that they are not, in fact, common standards.

If the states don't get their preverbal sh*t together in regards to implementation, the feds will declare it a disaster and they will have to come to the rescue and develop the specifics of how to teach the curriculum.  And that's how you control the people.[/quote]
