True and people should not generalize, but they do. There are things white people do like flying a Confederate Flag that we would not allow our children to do. [b]We also would not allow our children to use the words "nigger" and "motherfucker". Nor would we allow them to think of themselves as victims or that people from a particular race are evil[/b].

If your family does not fall into that category, I apologize that those behaviors are associated with the people who live in neighborhoods densely populated by black people. However, demonstrating the above described behaviors result in self-segregation. It hard to believe, maybe there are still people out there who don't understand those are self-segregating behaviors that with always inhibit large scale and even individual assimilation.

Normal communications are the key to American assimilation. Is assimilation necessary?? No, not for survival, but it is necessary for upward economic mobility. It's an individuals choice and most importantly it's a parents choice to prepare there children for the world they live in; or not!!![/quote]

Clearly, you've never been to appalachian and ozark communities that are majority white.  I have.
