The first time he did the WISC (at age 6 as part of an evaluation for ADHD and anxiety) he did okay but his working memory and processing speed were in the average range. Two years later we were working with a psychiatrist to add medication (after two years of play and talk therapy) and DS had much higher working memory and processing speed scores. The verbal and perceptual reasoning scores were roughly the same, though.[/quote]
