In all the US vs Iran war simulations the Pentagon did, we lost every time going back to the Carter administration. There’s a reason we didn’t go to war to get the hostages in 1979.

I’m a patriotic American but come on. Who goes to a losing battle willingly?

Trump has obviously come to his senses and realized this is a trap. Iran is geographically blessed. The tall dense mountain ranges they have alone would be a death trap for our soldiers. Why do you think Israel won’t declare war and send troops to Iran? It’s no surprise our plane was shot down over one of their mountains supposedly during the start of our failed ground invasion. I think that’s why Trump was raging all weekend because the operation failed.

Why should we send  troops to their death?  There’s a reason Carter, Reagan, and five other presidents  didn’t[/quote]
