TSA needs to give a $10,000 bonus to every officer across the USA. They have had to take out loans, pay late fees, and go into debt due to both shutdowns. We need congress to approve this.
The DNC needs to give a $10,000 bonus to every TSA employee. This is their doing.
Democrats in the senate unanimously passed a bill to pay TSA. Mike Johnson, the republican speaker, refused to put it to a vote in the house even though it would have easily passed. This is 100% a republican problem.
Fact!
Republicans actually passed a. I’ll to fund DHS. No democrats voted for it. Democrats are the obstructionists here.
Lies. In fact it's well documented in the Senate Appropriations Committee that Democrats attempted SIX SEPARATE TIMES in 24 hours to pass bills funding TSA, FEMA, CISA, and the Coast Guard while negotiations continued over ICE and CBP. Republicans refused. Democrats proposed a bill to fund every single part of DHS except for ICE and CBP. Republicans refused. Democrats proposed individual bills to fund TSA, FEMA, CISA, Coast Guard and other DHS functions. Republicans refused. That's all documented fact. Democrats were willing to fund TSA and the other DHS agencies. They refused to vote for the GOP bill because the Republicans refused to put in any of the common sense oversight and accountability measures, like requiring judicial warrants, making them remove their masks and identify themselves. This is on Republicans.
is this how we should fund the government? after a bill approved and passed earlier this year all of a sudden one party wants to go back and redo it without proposing a new bill for approval? So i guess republicans should just strip out all funding for agencies they dont agree with afterwards, what if republicans stopped everything and said to only fund DHS, DOJ and DOD, nothing else? how would you feel, does that work?
